• Assistant Professor: Candidate must have a Master’s Degree in a relevant subject with at least 55% marks from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university and the candidate must clear the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar tests accredited by the UGC like SLET/ SET. Also, eligible candidates have PhD Degrees in the concerned/ allied/ relevant disciplines.
• Associate Professor: Applicants must have a good academic record with PhD Degrees in the concerned/ allied/ relevant disciplines. Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks. Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching and/or research in an academic / research position equivalent to that of an Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution.
• Professor: The candidate must have PhD Degrees in the concerned/ allied/ relevant disciplines with a minimum of 10 years of research published in the peer-reviewed. A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in University/ College, and/or experience in research at the University/ National level institutions/industries.
• University Librarian: Applicants must have a Master‘s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade with at least ten years as a Librarian at any level in a University Library or ten years of teaching as Assistant/ Associate Professor in Library Science or ten years experience as a College Librarian. PhD Degree in library science/ information science/ documentation/ archives and manuscript-keeping.
