Education Qualification
The candidate must have a Ph.D. degree in any branch of Horticulture obtained from any of the Agriculture/ Horticulture Universities and must have 3 years of experience on the post, not below the rank of Horticulture Officer
OR
Must have a second-class postgraduate degree in any branch of Horticulture obtained from any of the Agriculture/ Horticulture Universities and have five years of separate or combined experience in the field of Horticulture Research/ Horticultural Extension Service/ Horticulture Education/ Horticulture Engineering.

The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.

Must have basic knowledge of Computer Applications and adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
